Description	An African-American gardener rakes leaves on the grounds of Clovercroft, photographer Kate Matthews' family home in Pewee Valley, Kentucky. He wears a vest, jacket, hat, and gloves, and smoke rises from the pile of leaves beside him. The house can be seen in the background. Handwritten on album page by photographer Kate Matthews: "November". Inscriptions in the album, which Kate Matthews gave to her great-nephew, Charles B. Fletcher, Jr., include: "Beautiful Pewee Valley, Photographs by Kate Matthews" (p. 1) and "This book is affectionately dedicated to Charlie" (p. 2).
