Description	A woman, with a large basket of laundry balanced on her head, walks home with a dog at the end of the day. A single, small wooden house sits behind a fence. Photographer Kate Matthews' signature is on the lower right corner of mount. Also handwritten on album page by Kate Matthews: "And the night calls softly, haste home to rest." An alternate title, "Going Home" is part of a copy negative that was made from another print of this image (ULPA 1994.13.050.n).
