Title	Clovercroft gateway.

Description	The gate to photographer Kate Matthews' family home, Clovercroft, stands open along the path next to Ashwood Avenue in Pewee Valley, Kentucky. Handwritten on verso in Kate Matthews' handwriting: "'Clovercroft Gateway' =Photo. 1940=", Thanks so much for the pretty sheep pictures and the dear Calico Chick. Went to Frankfort 'Labor Day.' Love to all." The card is addressed to "Miss Rebecca Mack, 4 E. Sommerfield Apts. Avondale, Cincinnati, Ohio" and is postmarked Sep. 4, 1940 in Pewee Valley, Ky.
