Description	Mamie Cleland sits sidesaddle on a horse in the middle of Ash Avenue in Pewee Valley, Kentucky. Wheel tracks are visible in the dirt road, which is lined on both sides by large trees and white fences. Handwritten on the bottom border of the print in photographer Kate Matthews' handwriting: "Pewee Valley, Ashwood Avenue, 1890." Her signature is on the lower right corner of both the print and the rectangular frame folder. Handwritten on verso of folder in Kate Matthews' handwriting: "Mamie Cleland, Ash Avenue, Pewee Valley, Kentucky." It appears the photographer added clouds or shading to the sky by hand.
