Description
The well that provides water for the camels , sheep and goats that graze in the area was originally drilled to supply water for a wildcat drilling operation . When the wildcat well was completed the water well was turned over to King Ibn Saud for the watering of his camels and for the sheep and goats of the Bedouin tribesman who tend the King's camels . Camels , sheep and goats are herded about the watering trough . The pipe leading from the trough joins a diesel pump that raises the water in the well to the surface .
