Description
The batik is dipped into a tub of brown dye , made from the bark of the sago tree which comes from Borneo . The range of colors in Javanese batiks is not very great as the p[people are much more interested in the intricacy of the design than in the delicacy of the color . Most batiks have only two basic colors which are used with white , either as a background , or as the design .
