Aboard the tug , "Bertha " towing a 7,000 barrel barge of crude oil from Bayou de Glaise to Baton Rouge . Gauger checks the tanks before discharging the oil . The Gauger is usually employed by an outside company to unsure impartiality in case of controversy .
