Description
Logging operations in the Ponchatoula cypress swamp for the Louisiana Cypress Lumber Company . This is one of the last large scale logging operations of the practically extinct red swamp cypress . Timberfellers , K . Kramer and Joe Pinjon . Together they are paid 75 cents for felling a tree and buckling " it cutting it into 16 foot logs .
