Seismograph operations of Humble Oil and Refining Company near Golden Meadow , Louisiana . Instrument unit of seismograph crew is mounted on aluminum pontoon for easy sliding over marsh grass and for quick transportation over water . The pontoon is usually winched over wide stretched of water as the marsh buggy propels itself best over water with no load .
