Description
Bricks and rubble from damaged buildings lie in Market Street following the tornado which struck Louisville , Kentucky on March 27 , 1890 . A sign advertising "Montgomery & Bailey's " a candy manufacturer located at 1018 W . Market Street , sits in front of a building . Several men stand on the sidewalk between buildings and debris . The tornado killed an estimated 100 people and many more were injured .
