Description
Parkway Field , with schedule of home football games posted on the wall . Parkway Field has a long history with the university and the city . In addition to serving as Louisville's minor league baseball field (1923-1956) , it provided a home to the University of Louisville's football team from 1952-1954 . The stands were dismantled in 1961 , but university baseball was played there until 1996 . Parkway Field was dedicated for the use of intramural sports on September 15 , 2005 . Location : Belknap Campus : South of Eastern Parkway , east of Speed School . Former uses : Football stadium , baseball field , football offices , locker rooms , storage .
