fight
between
two
heavily
armed
gladiators
of
uncertain
type
.
Next
to them
is
a
Thracian
with a
small
shield
,
who
is
standing
by
while
his
opponent
,
another
heavily
armed
gladiator
,
holds
up
his
finger
and
appeals
to the
lanista
.

a
lanista
restraining
a
gladiator
of
uncertain
type
who
is
about
to
render
the
