Description	“The social, political, and spiritual terrain of Saar’s work incorporates found objects, personal family memorabilia, and other materials. In this work, using the familiar and derogatory image of Aunt Jemimah, Saar transforms the stereotype into a reactionary revolutionary carrying a gun.” (caption, p.74)
