oil
paint
with a
brush
on
board

picture
is
larger
in
format
than his
earlier
landscapes
. The
colors
are
markedly
brighter
and
less
naturalistic
and have been
applied
with
longer
,
somewhat
more
rectangular
strokes
. Here, the
street
has been
transformed
by
shades
of
pink
and
lavender
