Description	Color lithograph featuring the left profile of performer Margaret Mather superimposed over a peacock feather. Born Margaret Finlayson in Canada in 1859, she was noticed by theater manager J. M. Hill and performed under contract with him from 1882 - 1887, taking her mother's maiden name as her stage name.
