With a gigantic replica of Davy Crockett astride, the Phi Tau's Cardinal Photos by Larry Spitzer, Amand Ostroff and J im Ford. HAIL! HAIL! THE GANG'S ALL HERE! And they cheered loud and long despite the frigid temperaiure. But they weren't the only cold ones. . Even the beauty queens shivered. Doris, Pat, Mary June, Sharon, and Kim bundled up and stuck \it out to see the Cards grab their seventh straight victory. George Cain eluded several Toledo tacklers for fifteen yards and a first down to help send the Rockets back to Toledo with a 33-13 defeat. During the half-time ceremonies Reverend Alvin P. Kershaw graciously accepted the "Outstanding Alumnus" award from President Philip Davidson and Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Lee P. JVIiller. proclaimed to the world that "Cardinal Crockett will Blast the Rockets." Chi 0 led the sororities with a Wednesday, November 23, 1955 pirate ship from which four pretty Chi 0 buccaneers forced To!edo to "Walk the Plank."
