| Description | G.W. THOMAS, a stern-wheel towboat with wood hull (173.5 ft. x 28 ft. x 6 ft.), was built at Howard in 1901. Owned by Peoples Coal Co. in Pittsburgh, she operated on the upper Ohio River. G.W. THOMAS was sold and renamed ALICIA in 1913 and then burned at Brownsville, Pennsylvania in 1923. |
