Description | GUNTERSVILLE, a stern-wheel towboat with wood hull (140 ft. x 28 ft. x 4 ft.), was built at Howard in 1903. Owned by Nashville, Chattanooga, and St. Louis Railway, GUNTERSVILLE operated in the Guntersville, Alabama area. Its main use was towing railroad transfer barges.. GUNTERSVILLE was dismantled in 1946. |
