Description
The zero milestone marker on Main St . at Walnut (now Martin Luther King Jr . Blvd) in Lexington , Ky . The granite marker has a bronze statue at its top of a barefoot man riding a camel . Engraved on the north side of the marker is "North / Zero milestone. " The west side of the marker is engraved "West / Starting point from Lexington on all highways. " Below that are two highway symbols denoting U.S . 60 and U.S . 25 . The front of Lexington Union Station can be seen in the background . The Handwritten on border of negative "Zero Milestone , Lexington , Ky. "
