Product photograph from Belknap Hardware and Manufacturing Company in Louisville , Ky . of an iron stove on legs with cooking top and a number of doors and compartments for flues , reservoir , and ash pan . The stove probably would burn either coal or wood . The large door on the front has a sign reading "Belknap's Homemaker. " The stove sits on a raised platform covered with sheets of paper . There is a draped backdrop behind the stove .
