Description
Mary Margaret McBride hosted a popular radio program starting in 1934 . She advertised products she had personally approved . Jean Thomas apparently distributed some of these products to people living in remote areas in eastern Kentucky . Here, Jean Thomas stands in the yard distributing the contents of a mesh bag to another woman (possibly Rosie Day , who may be the daughter or daughter-in-law of fiddler Jilson Setters) , two boys , a little girl , and a dog .
