This issue brings "news" of all types , First of a.ll , much of it will deal
with Christmas news which may seem 11 oid news " and yet, I'm sure you will be interes t ­ed
in knowing that we heard f r om so man.y of the "gang" . Then it brings announcements
of weddings , of those having been wounded and yes - even of death .
We are sorry to report that Pfc . Roger· Hart was killed January l in
Belgium. Roger entered the Law School in the Summer Semester of 1942 and at~nded
two semesters . He was inducted intothe Army in December , 1942 . We were very fond
of Roger and felt that he would have made a good , upright lawyer , To his Mothe~ ,
Mrs . G. B. Hart , 658 Lindell , Louisvi~le , Kentucky , goes out our deepest sympathy .
For some time now , I have felt that many more of our other graduates
would be interested in receiving the "Hews Letter" • So with this issue I am adding
the names of all those
