One-story building at 2100 South Preston Street (corner of Preston & Lynn Streets, Louisville, Kentucky). Sign above building advertises Royal Crown Cola, Beer & Sandwiches, and Chile & Soup. Unlit neon signs in windows advertise Fehr's Beer and Oertel's '92. Oertel's Beer is also prominently displayed on a hanging sign, and Coca-Cola ads appear beneath the windows. 1943 City Directory lists this as "Gibby's Place" restaurant. It was later the Z-Bar. |
