Description
Front of a building on Market Street between Tenth Street and Eleventh Street that was damaged by the tornado which hit Louisville , Kentucky , on March 27 , 1890 . The walls of the building have been peeled away , so that the inside rooms of the three story structure are visible . A man sits among the rubble and another man is standing on a ladder propped against the building a few feet from him. The tornado killed an estimated 100 people and many more were injured .
